A Wegmans on Mars
Leesburg, VA is getting a Wegmans in November, 2009. Yes, its coming real soon.
Fredericksburg, VA saw the opening of a Wegmans on June 21st, 2009.
And Germantown, MD? Germantown just has the same old Shoppers and Giant. We don’t get no respect.
In the meantime, click here to fine the closest Wegmans. It just might be worth the commute.
Germantown is actually listed as a future location for a Wegmans. OK, that’s a start. They have planned where the salad bar will be located. They are certain about the lobster tank. They are having problems with the beef and chicken cooler.
I do almost all my shopping at the Kingsview Giant. OK, I go to Shoppers for the beer, and for descent fresh baked bread and jelly donuts.
One day as I get stuck at one of those self checkouts at Giant because I call it yellow squash and they call it summer squash, I may just spread my arms and look towards the ceiling and yellow out slowly and loudly, “W-E-G-G-M-A-A-N-S!!!”

I hope they come soon. I just had the most HORRID experience at the Safeway in our area. I’m going to email it to you. Feel free to post the pictures in the email or reference it because I am soooooooooo upset!
